The best dishes, however, House Specialties menu, which includes hickory smoked barbecue ribs, with mashed potatoes, Elk New York Strip Loin, marinated in olive oil with tarragon, thyme and rosemary, and laced with raspberry peppercorn sauce, American bison meatloaf with mashed potatoes and a wild mushroom gravy and caramelized onions, and their roasted pork loin, drizzled with sweet and sour sauce and served with mashed potatoes. Other impressive entrees include their roasted pheasant with wild rice in a red pepper creme sauce, duck stuffed with dried cherries, wild rice and capirotada, in a wild mushroom creme sauce and mashed potatoes, and their Alaskan king crab, with wild rice. There's something to please any pallet at this rustic, but upscale eatery.
